How do I care for my artwork?

These wire sculptures look delicate which is part of their attraction, but are actually quite hardy. They can be moved around easily, however, if pressure is put on any part of the woven area resulting in an indentation, this cannot be repaired. Like any artwork, care should be taken during transportation and special attention to security of the hook before hanging the artwork.

Will the wire change in colour at all?

As these woven artworks are made from natural bare annealed wire, certain environments will affect it’s patina. More humid environments can, over time, create a darker look. Some artworks are already in darkened copper. For those that aren’t, a request can be made to apply a light spray coating which will help to preserve the original colour.

How do I best display my piece?

To showcase your artwork, the light source should be taken into consideration. An angled spotlight at night can look fantastic. Or locating the piece near a window with natural daylight will create a beautiful changing shadow throughout the day as the sun changes direction.

Is delivery included?

Arrangements will be made for artworks to be hand delivered within Singapore. As each piece is unique in size and shape, packaging is not included which is why hand delivery is important. Enquiries for delivery outside of Singapore should be made via email to Carmen.
